About Us

Subship started in 2020 during the pandemic as a hyperlocal grocery delivery service. We connected Londoners with over forty local suppliers, offering everything from fresh food to eco-friendly household products, all delivered by electric van and bicycle.

From 2023 onwards, we've honed our focus to what we do best – delivering exceptional hyperlocal London honey, primarily from the Pearly Queen collective. Our honey comes from hives across nine London neighbourhoods, bringing the unique flavours of the capital straight to your door.

We're proud to pay the London Living Wage and are signatories of the Better Business Act, reflecting our commitment to ethical business practices.

I'm Tom Szekeres, founder of Subship. Before launching Subship, I created dulwichdelivers.com, helping independent businesses reach local customers during lockdown. When I'm not delivering honey by bicycle across Walthamstow and Hackney, I run re~grow, a digital consultancy working with planet-positive companies.
