Something for the weekend? Now delivering hyperlocal groceries every Friday

WFH FTW

As more of us return to the office during the week, but still WFH on Friday, it's time to expand our deliveries to the official start to the weekend.

Thursday delivery will still be the default delivery day, but for those of you who've adopted the four day week, or simply prefer your food, drink, and refills a little later in the week, you can now get our 100% electric deliveries each and every Friday.

Just use the date picker when checking out.

When's the order cut-off?

Unless otherwise stated, the order cutoff will be midnight Wednesday for Friday delivery.

For some products, like sourdough, our suppliers need a little more notice.

But we'll be really clear about this on the product page for such items - so make sure to click through before adding a specific item.

Who will deliver my order?

On Thursdays we'll continue to deliver by shared electric van, in-house. But on Fridays we'll be mixing it up a little, and your order may be delivered by a trusted partner (not an exploitative courier). Or by bike. Or even by foot. All depends on where you live.

We'll still be delivering 100% electric, still with minimal packaging, and still ensuring whoever delivers gets paid the Real London Living Wage as a minimum.

Why not same-day delivery?

We're working on it, but for now, we're committed to being as eco-friendly as possible.

This means planning our delivery routes in advance to minimise our mileage, and making sure we order exactly the right amount of food and drink to order (to reduce waste).

Opening our deliveries to local businesses

We'll also be offering delivery to local businesses who share our values. Is this you? Feel free to get in touch.
