Our Climate Commitment
Sustainable deliveries for your honey.
Deliveries often have a significant environmental impact. That's why we prioritise eco-friendly options to ensure a minimal carbon footprint.
Our commitment to sustainability has led to…
- For deliveries in Walthamstow and much of Hackney, we partner with cycle commuters to deliver your packages.
- Reducing our carbon emissions by partnering with Royal Mail, the UK's greenest delivery option*
- Providing carbon-negative shipping for thousands of orders
Royal Mail has the lowest carbon emissions per parcel delivered according to the Citizens Advice 2023 Parcels League Table.
But we don't stop there. A portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies, vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct, to offset (more than) any remaining carbon emissions from our delivery process. Excess funds are used to support the development of carbon removal technologies.
Meet some of the companies removing carbon from the atmosphere.
Heirloom
Heirloom's direct air capture technology enhances the carbon mineralisation process. Their innovative approach accelerates the rate at which naturally occurring minerals capture CO₂ without relying on energy-intensive fans to draw in air.
Remora
Remora captures CO₂ from semi-truck tailpipes as they drive, with the CO₂ destined for long-term storage.
Charm
Charm captures CO₂ using plant waste, converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, and safely stores it deep underground—out of reach of wildfires and soil erosion.
*Royal Mail is the UK's greenest delivery option for letters and parcels based on average gCO2e emissions per parcel delivered by UK parcel operators, as published by Citizens Advice 2023 Parcels League Table.
